We were so happy to find such a toddler friendly restaurant in Mount Pleasant. The play area was such a hit (what a brilliant idea and to have it raised like that so the kids don’t get in anyone’s way), the staff were all so friendly, and the food was good too! Would definitely go back, I wish more restaurants were family friendly like this!

Been a frequent client for Sal y limón for years! Their recipes and taste have not changed even tho they have many locations now. Their employees always greet me with a smile and customize my personal preferences for my order. And price is good for a whole meal. We love Sal y limon
Nachos were generously topped with cheese, guacamole, jalapeños, and sour cream. The plate was huge and itself alone could feed 2 people full. Would order again! The yellow one is the Mexixan cornbread, and it was way sweeter than I expected. Overall, authentic Mexican cuisine! (At least in my humble opinion)
Great spot for authentic tacos and Mexican food. Looks like they have a renovation done recently and it looks great! Get the tacos, you will not regret it! About 4 tacos is a good portion for most people. Sal Y Limon is located at a small strip mall and parking during peak hours can get challenging.
Sal Y Limon catered a private event at the University I work for and it was absolutely wonderful. Their staff showed up prepared and were friendly, independent, and organized. The food was amazing! We had al Pastor and Elote tacos with Chips, Guac, Beans and Rice. It made my week, and safe to say people will be talking about this event all summer. If you have a party you need catered simply, and deliciously for a great price I highly recommend them. Thanks Sal y Limon!!
Highly recommend for family and friends to visit. We had beef, lamb, pork tongue, and fish tacos. All very tasty and delicious. I personally love the fish and pork tongue the most. We also order the burritos very filling and delicious. Will for sure go back to try out more dishes. It’s a first come first serve seating, no need to book. They have lots of non alcoholic drinks to choose from and also Mexican beers. Also have different kinds of chilli sauce if you want extra flavour Easy free parking at the front. Very reasonable prices and portions.
